All major parties have addressed pensions in their hastily assembled manifestos ahead of this month's election, suggesting they recognise that pensions increasingly matter to voters. From cutting tax for pensioners with a new triple lock to encouraging UK investment and ensuring WASPI women (women born in the 1950s) receive compensation for changes to the state pension age, there are certainly some interesting promises designed to catch the eye of certain sections of the electorate.
