Labels are tricky. In my last column, I referred to the term ‘ADHD tax', which some took exception to, believing it to be unhelpful in the quest for better acceptance of this particular neurodiversity. Labels are shorthand and without extensive unpacking, I appreciate how offence can be taken and apologise to those who were affected.
