I re-read my very first article for Professional Adviser recently, which I penned in January 2020.  At that point, our greatest concern was the impact of Brexit.  What I didn't know, of course, was that the next four years would present some of the greatest challenges that our profession has ever faced. Yes, Brexit was a challenge, and its impact is still being felt. Confidence in UK plc was seriously affected, and we've seen some global businesses move out of the UK to operate elsewhere in Europe. We have struggled with supply chains, availability of labour and the value of the pound.  ...
