I've been on my IFA's books for, ooh, 18 months now and I've only seen him twice (it probably should have been more in the circumstances, but that's entirely my fault).

I have, however, just made appointment number three. That's because, shortly, and for the first time, we're expecting an addition to the Sinclair household. And I'm not talking about a conservatory. It's during life-changing times like these that one is supposed to see one's adviser, if one has one. And, schooled in the value of advice as I am, it's at times like these that I'm grateful I have an IFA I believe I can trust.
