The RDR will now be subject to a full Parliamentary debate, but do not expect the FSA or its successor organisation to backtrack on any of its major proposals.

Harriett Baldwin MP, having led a 30-minute debate at Westminster Hall last month, has now secured a three-hour slot for a full discussion of the Review's merits and drawbacks. It may even be in the House of Commons. But advisers should not expect anything other than a re-cap of arguments heard over and over again for more than four years now.
