Providers had to continually adapt their offerings to remain competitive throughout 2008. We saw regular product re-prices throughout the year and developments to online systems, a wider use of tele-interviewing and tele-underwriting and an increase in the promotion of business protection, to name but a few of the recent changes. In addition, one of the most commonly enhanced products has been critical illness cover.
