In my first entry to this blog I asked for help to understand my credit rating and confessed I was having difficulty obtaining any credit. My second entry attempted to explain possible reasons why I might be having problems. In my third entry I finally got to have a look at my credit files to discover what was wrong with them. Having done this I am now able to share some conclusions.
A lot has happened since my last update. All three credit agencies have been in contact with me offering their help, saving me the job of writing to them to ask them to investigate the mess my files are in. I have also learnt a great deal. Firstly, for those of you that do not know, the credit reference agencies do not share information. This you might think is quite odd but they don’t and there is no real explanation for it.
