Almost three quarters (74%) of UK wealth managers and IFAs plan to up their own personal allocations to private markets due to the proliferation of semi-liquid funds, according to research from Wealth Club.
A large majority (83%) of wealth managers and IFAs also predicted their private asset holdings will surpass 5% of their total personal portfolios within three years. Surveying advisers responsible for £332.7bn in assets under management, 98% already hold some private market investments (excluding VCTs and EIS) and 73% hold a personal allocation above 5%.
