Clifton Wealth Partnership snaps up Suffolk financial planning firm

Brings total AUM to £4bn

Clifton Wealth Partnership (CWP) has completed the acquisition of Suffolk-based financial planning firm Morgan Law Financial Services.

Morgan Law adds about 500 clients and £138m in assets under management (AUM) to the partnership, bringing Clifton Asset Management's total AUM to £4bn. CWP said the transaction represented "a further step in CWP's strategy to partner with established advisers looking to secure long-term continuity for their clients". Following the acquisition, the Morgan Law team - comprised of two advisers, two qualified paraplanners and an administrator - will remain in place, continuing to operate from their existing Ipswich office.
