London IFA Maseco acquired by US advice firm

Adds £3bn in assets to Creative Planning

US advice firm Creative Planning has acquired London-IFA Maseco, subject to regulatory approval.

The acquisition will add 123 employees and more than £3.75bn ($5bn) in assets under management (AUM) to Creative Planning. Founded in 2008 during the global financial crisis, London-based Maseco offers cross-border wealth management services with a focus on American families.  "We're thrilled to have Maseco join Creative Planning," said Creative Planning president and CEO Peter Mallouk.
