Aberdeen Adviser CEO Noel Butwell to step down

Exits after more than 20 years

Aberdeen Adviser CEO Noel Butwell will be stepping down after more than 20 years with the business.

Aberdeen confirmed today (16 March) that Butwell has taken the decision to step down from his role and will be leaving Aberdeen in the coming months. He first joined the business in 2003 and held several different roles before becoming CEO of Aberdeen Adviser when it was established as a separate business unit in 2019. Aberdeen said the process to appoint a successor is advanced and it will provide an update shortly.
