The Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association (PIMFA) has named Lord Tyrie as chair, succeeding Lord Deben.
Lord Tyrie brings "extensive experience, expertise and a proven track record of championing industry standards and fairness, having played a significant role in and reshaping many aspects of financial regulation over the past two decades", according to a PIMFA update shared this afternoon (3 March). Lord Tyrie's served as chair of the Competition and Markets Authority from June 2018 to September 2020.
