Transact cuts platform costs in updated pricing approach

Family linking policy will be extended to more members from April

Transact will be cutting its platform costs in an updated pricing approach where its family linking policy will be extended to more family members.

From April 2026, Transact's family linking policy on its platform will be extended to accept linking requests for siblings, partners of siblings, and nieces and nephews.  It said that this updated pricing approach will give advisers more flexibility to serve families irrespective of their family or relationship structure and more clients can benefit from family linking and potentially lower platform charges. Example of Transact's family linking savings:   Total saving across family = £7,840 – £4,063 = £3,777 or 48%    Note: No wrapper fees have been included in this example....
