Schroders exodus continues as Swiss manager departs for Investec while UK wealth team grows

Schroders has seen another departure from its team as Swiss-based portfolio manager Jaime Arévalo has left the business for Investec.

Zurich-based Arévalo had spent more than a decade at Schroders, most recently as a multi-asset portfolio manager. Prior to that, he was an investment risk manager and specialist at Schroders.  Before joining the British asset management giant, Arévalo spent nearly five years at the International Labour Organisation, where he began as a junior actuary.  In a post on his LinkedIn, he said: "After more than a decade at Schroders, my journey there has come to an end.
