Financial advisers should engage with students about the challenges of managing finances at university, national financial advice firm Continuum has said.
The Plymouth-based firm noted that for people preparing to start university courses, it will be the first time away from home. "Managing cash and finances can seem just as challenging as the course itself, and many students are likely to turn to their parents to help them navigate how to make their money stretch far enough," Continuum set out.
