Bain Capital in the lineup to buy Amber River – report

Network put up for sale by current owner Penta Capital

Private equity firm Bain Capital is reportedly included among potential suitors to acquire financial planning network Amber River.

Bain Capital and several other private equity firms are preparing to lodge bids for Amber River, which has been put up for sale by owner Penta Capital, Sky News reported. Banking sources told Sky News that the auction could fetch a price in the region of £900m. Fellow private equity firm Stone Point Capital was also named as another potential buyer ahead of offers due in the coming weeks.
