Ian Callaghan joins PFS board

Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) past president Ian Callaghan has joined the board of the Personal Finance Society (PFS), Professional Adviser understands and Companies House filings suggest.

The filings show that Callaghan was added as a PFS director on 18 March. He is the immediate past president of the CII and was also a non-executive board member at the professional body from 2015 to 2021. Callaghan is insurer relations director at insurance broker Kingfisher Insurance. Confirming Callaghan's appointment, a CII spokesperson told PA: "Ian, a former president of the CII, has supported the PFS board as an observer at its meetings over the past year and will now further contribute his substantial experience from across the insurance and financial planning professions." ...
