Advisers divided on the pros and cons of AI

The majority of IFAs are not planning to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) into their practices in the next year, according to research from Opinium.

Its survey of 200 IFAs comes as prime minister Keir Starmer has announced government plans to expand the uses of AI to boost growth and efficiency. Opinium found that 23% of IFAs are planning to introduce AI tools in their services to clients within the next 12 months, however 64% are not planning to introduce AI into their practices in the next year.
