Some 56% of advisers use technology to help them evidence, and comply with, Consumer Duty, according to research from digital portal provider Dorsum.
Surveying 109 advice businesses on their attitudes towards technology and compliance, the findings revealed 42% of advisers were not aware of digital tools that can help automatically evidence Consumer Duty compliance. Of the respondents, 58% of advisers agreed that technology can reliably support Consumer Duty compliance. One in ten disagreed out right. The remaining 32% said they were neutral.
