Majority of advisers would recommend British ISA, Schroders finds

The majority of advisers would consider recommending the Great British ISA if it was introduced, Schroders has found.

Its UK Financial Adviser Pulse Survey for June 2024 found that 80% of advisers would consider recommending the Great British ISA to their clients if it is introduced, while 20% would not. The idea of the Great British ISA was unveiled in chancellor Jeremy Hunt's Spring Budget in March. As part of an array of measures aimed at bolstering retail investor participation in capital markets, the Great British ISA would aim to "encourage more people to invest in UK assets".
