Loyal North increases Scottish presence with latest acquisition

The buy-out should bring a total of £60m in client funds

Loyal North has acquired financial planning firm Sovereign Financial Services to boost its existing presence in Scotland.

Sovereign Financial Services is based in Galashiels in the Scottish borders and will join Loyal North's regional hub, Lowland Financial Planning, also based in Galashiels. Sovereign principle John Kennedy will be retiring but will join Lowland as a senior financial planner to oversee the effective transition of clients. The acquisition will bring a total of £60m of client funds to the group.
