IFA Independent Women goes national across six locations

Female-centric business was bought by Mazars in 2022

Female-focused IFA business Independent Women has expanded to become a national operation after its purchase by Mazars last year.

Independent Women, founded in Edinburgh in 1997 by Lesley Mackintosh (pictured), said it was expanding to meet the demand for tailored financial advice in a "new era of women's wealth'. Audit, tax and advisory firm Mazards bought the operation in 2022. Its expansion will see it operate through six of Mazars' regional offices.
