Charles Stanley launches 'free call with an adviser' service

In-depth discussions at a fixed price of £150 will also be offered to the public

Members of the public will be able to have a 15-minute phone call with a financial planner for free as part of a new initiative being launched by Charles Stanley.

The investment manager said the new service - ‘OneStep Financial Coaching' - will allow people to ask questions about money and "feel more confident when it comes to management their finances" as they receive an adviser's response. A more in-depth, 60-minute discussion with an adviser over video will also be offered, at a fixed price of £150. Charles Stanley said it had developed the offering on the back of continuing concerns around the advice gap - estimated now to include about 12.2 million adults.
