Manchester firm SQ Wealth declared in default by the FSCS

The firm previously traded under the name Quays Wealth Management

Advice firm SQ Wealth has been declared failed by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and claims against the firm can now be made.

The firm is based in central Manchester and formerly traded as Quays Wealth Management when it was first authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in 2015. According to the FCA register, the firm went into administration at the start of November last year. The director of the firm, Stephen Leadbetter, is a Chartered planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
