Conservate MP-supported bill set for second reading

A private members’ bill on the prohibition of indemnification in relation to pensions dashboards has been presented to parliament.

 The bill sets out to make provision about prohibiting the trustees and managers of pension schemes from being indemnified in respect of penalties imposed under pensions dashboards regulations. The bill - sponsored by Conservative MP Mary Robinson - was first presented to parliament on 20 June. The next stage for this bill - the second reading - is scheduled to take place on 15 July 2022.
