Ludlow WM acquires Glasgow-based advice business

Ludlow Wealth Management has acquired Glasgow-based Ferguson Financial Management in a £1.2m deal.

Ludlow WM, a subsidiary of Mattioli Woods, said the deal went through with an initial consideration of £0.6m and potential further consideration of up to £0.6m dependent on the attainment of specified performance targets in the year after completion. Ferguson provides financial planning and wealth management services to more than 200 private client families with approximately £80m of assets under advice.   As part of the deal an experienced employee will join Mattioli Woods and operate from the group's existing Glasgow office.
