True Potential group profits grew 80% in 2021

Wealth manager True Potential announced record growth over 2021, seeing its profits increase by 80% to £132m, according to the group’s latest annual results.

The group also saw a 52% growth in its turnover which reached £281m last year, up from £184.9m in 2020. Its profits also grew from £74m in 2020 to £132m in 2021. It credited this growth to its hybrid advice models, which were underpinned by technology. The wealth manager added 20,532 new clients to the service in 2021, it said, with more than 38,000 clients that were fully advised, serviced and supported through its central advice team by the end of last year.
