ESG metrics need to improve for green digital infrastructure

The £846.2m Digital 9 Infrastructure trust currently has an impressive carbon per revenue metric of 19 versus a US average of 173.

However, manager of the trust Thor Johnsen has warned that this and other metrics it presented in its annual result, "will come up and then it is going to be about improving those".  Digital 9 Infrastructure, which aims to fund environmentally friendly digital infrastructure and improve global connectivity, posted its maiden annual results on 17 March.
