IWP bolsters management team with double hire

Two new senior roles created

Independent Wealth Planners (IWP) has strengthened its management team with the creation of two new senior roles.

Rob Allen has been appointed managing director and David Shiel joins the firm as marketing director, according to IWP. As the firm's managing director, Allen will lead IWP's growing national network of independent financial advisers. Having worked in the UK and Australia, he brings more than 25 years of  experience in the financial services industry to his new role. Allen started his career as a consultant at Arthur Anderson, and held senior positions at Westpac and West LB in Australia.
