Bristol-based financial planning firms 4 Financial Planning and Ovation Finance collaborated to hire a graduate claiming universal credits in a positive story for the businesses and the candidate.

Else (pictured) applied for a placement from the government Kickstarter Scheme, an initiative to help businesses employ individuals claiming universal credits. The department for work and pensions (DWP) pay their wages for 25 hours a week for 6 months. "It does not cost the employer anything," Else said.
