More details of Abrdn's new wealth management venture

Abrdn is in the process of buying a new wealth management platform that will offer clients the chance to build a portfolio personal to them without seeking advice. But what exactly is it?

This morning Abrdn announced it had bought AI-driven wealth management solution business Exo Investing for an undisclosed sum. The deal, expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2021, will see Abrdn launch "24/7 digital wealth management" via an app. Exo Investing, which will eventually be rebranded to the Abrdn brand, offers artificial intelligent-powered investment technology.
