Tilney hires financial planner as it continues recruitment drive post-merger

Wealth management and professional services group, Tilney Smith & Williamson, has named Henk Van De Beek as its latest financial planning hire as it continues on its recruitment drive following its merger last September.

Van De Beek will join the Nottingham team as a financial planner for Tilney Financial Planning, having previously spent more than three and a half years as a wealth management consultant at Mattioli Woods. In January 2021, the newly-merged firm hired Richard Lindop, Lindsay Spencer and James Grayson from Brooks MacDonald, each joining as an investment management director. In February, Shaf Hussain was brought in from Pinnacle Wealth Management as a financial planner for the Tilney Financial Planning team in Chelmsford.
