Shocked adviser hits back at FCA over 'threatening' notice sent with third DB survey

Chartered financial planner Filip Slipaczek has rebuked the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) after he received a warning for failing to fill in its defined benefit (DB) survey sent earlier this year, despite not receiving it.

Yesterday (18 November), the regulator sent out a third DB survey to 1,653 financial advice firms, which asked questions on how coronavirus may have impacted DB transfer advice. However, along with this survey, Slipaczek was sent a warning from the FCA accusing him of failing to complete the second survey which was sent out in July. It said: "We sent you a survey in July 2020, we did not receive a response to this.
