Two IFAs join Glasgow firm McCrea: 'The company has its moral compass set right'

Glasgow-based Chartered IFA McCrea Financial Services has hired two new advisers as the firm continues to grow despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Former Portfolio and Pensions associate director Veronica Thomas and EIS Financial Services adviser and managing director Chris Bain started with the firm on Monday (1 June).  The appointments bring McCrea's adviser count to seven. The firm runs more than £260m funds under management (FUM) for close to 1,000 clients. Bain, who spent 22 years at Glasgow financial planner EIS, said he was drawn to McCrea's approach to growth without losing sight of clients' needs.
