LEBC trademarks 'bionic advice' in technology push

LEBC Group is amplifying its use of 'bionic advice' - trademarking the term and extending its artificial intelligence (AI) based products to its private clients.

In 2015 the advice firm launched a bionic advisory service for its corporate clients, combining technology with financial expertise and a human interface to offer tailored advice. LEBC successfully trademarked the term 'bionic advice' earlier this year and its trademark will last for at least the next 10 years. Since the launch, the network has also developed a portal to aid communication between its private clients and IFAs, as well as an app, ‘Hummingbird', which can be used by clients to track their spending and net value.
