Ipswich-based Chartered financial planners relocate to 16th century merchant's house

SG Wealth Management (SGWM) has relocated its Ipswich team into a 16th century timber-framed medieval merchant's house.

Located in the town's Silent Street, the timber-framed house was previously located in another area of Ipswich. It was dismantled a few years ago before being restored by contractor Jackson Projects, who happened to be building a new office on Silent Street. The house was dismantled by the Ipswich Building Preservation Trust and the Chartered financial planning firm invited the chairman Nicholas Jacob to officially open the new building and mark the occasion with a ribbon-cutting.  SGWM managing director Stephen Girling said it was an "exciting challenge to adapt such an old building ...
