Beaufort Financial backs Newcastle advice start-up

Beaufort Financial has signed its 19th IFA partnership, which sees Akrivis Wealth become an appointed representative of the national advice business.

Akrivis Wealth, based in Newcastle, launched earlier this month. Founder Alister Gaines was previously investment director at Sunderland-based CDC Wealth Management for 11 years. The partnership deal sees Akrivis become an AR of Beaufort Financial, which will provide it with marketing, administrative and technological support. Gaines said: "Now, more than ever, people need top quality financial advice and we have strong ambitions to build a significant business that will help support this increasing demand.
