FNZ launches blockchain infrastructure for asset managers

Platform technology provider FNZ has partnered with a number of global fund managers to launch a blockchain-powered market infrastructure for the asset management sector.

The group called the project 'FNZ ChainLink', which it said would leveraged blockchain technology to replace thousands of copies of transactions and holdings that "plague" the managed fund industry. FNZ said it did this with a single, secure, verifiable source of ‘the truth', universally accessible by all parties, adding the move would reduce cost, complexity and risk in back-office operations.
