Ascentric has 5% of clients left to re-platform after latest migration

Adviser platform Ascentric has now re-platformed 95% of clients after it completed its last "big migration" of customers from its old proprietary technology to its new Bravura-powered software.

The Royal London-owned firm said the remaining clients waiting to be transferred to its new technology would be moved at some point in the first quarter of this year. Ascentric shut down both its existing and new platforms for four days - from Friday to Monday - last weekend to shift clients from the former to the latter.  It came after the firm told Professional Adviser in 2017 it would not shut down the platform during normal working hours in its re-platforming move.
