FCA appoints five to Competition Decisions Committee

Five new members have joined the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) Competition Decisions Committee.

The committee is responsible for taking certain competition and regulatory decisions when a settlement cannot be reached. Lesley Ainsworth, Simon Polito, David Thomas and Tim Tutton have all been appointed to the FCA's Competition Decisions Committee, as well as the Payment Systems Regulator's (PSR) Competition Decisions Committee and its Enforcement Decisions Committee. Alisdair Smith has been appointed only to the FCA's Competition Decisions Committee as a panel member.
