Quilter acquires three financial planning firms

Quilter Private Client Advisers has bought three sole-practitioner financial planning businesses, taking its total of acquisitions in 2018 to 11.

The Intrinsic appointed representative has acquired Cheltenham-based Eastgate Financial Management, Surrey-based Holdaway Johnson and Clive C Aitkenhead Financial Consultant, which is situated in Blackburn. Clients of Eastgate, will now be serviced from Quilter's Birmingham office, while Holdaway Johnson will be "aligned" to the firm's London office. Clients of Aitkenhead will be serviced by Quilter's Chester office.
