Lighthouse extends affinity contract for 17,000-strong bakers' union

Lighthouse Group has renewed its affinity contract with the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers' Union (BFAWU) to continue to be the preferred provider of financial advice to its 17,000 members.

The contract has added three years to the alliance between the adviser and the union, starting from 1 September 2018. The BFAWU is the only independent trade union operating in the food industry.  The union's general secretary Ronnie Draper said: "We are delighted to have secured this contract renewal with Lighthouse, which will enable us to continue to ensure our members are able to access financial planning assistance from a reliable and well-reputed organisation, on a truly national basis.
