Fintel CEO: Sector must come together to solve data 'problems'

Consumer Duty compliance data gaps

Advisers are increasingly spending time showing value delivered to clients but face provider data gaps, according to Fintel CEO Matt Timmins.

Speaking to Professional Adviser, Timmins said that three years into Consumer Duty, Fintel – which counts Simplybiz and ThreeSixty among its businesses – continues to see heightened demand for outsourced compliance and regulation support. "We are experiencing our own customers taking more services from us," Timmins noted. "I think that Consumer Duty has meant that many advisers are spending time evidencing, quite rightly, the value that they're delivering to clients."
