How quickly can you spend your pension? Well, how long have you got? Last week's Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) report suggesting we are misjudging how long we are likely to live for - meaning we risk either running out of money in retirement or living too frugally - is the subject of this Sunday Times article. According to the report, 65-year-olds believe there is only a 65% chance of them reaching 75, when actually the official estimate is 83% for men and 89% for women.
