Ascentric to begin moving advisers to new platform this weekend

More than £70m spent on project

Ascentric is starting to move clients from its old platform to the new one as it looks to complete its long-term re-platforming project, Professional Adviser understands.

The Royal London-owned platform is moving clients and advisers from its proprietary Blue Button technology to Bravura Sonata - software that also serves the Nucleus platform and will also provide the base for FundsNetwork when its own re-platforming project is complete. A spokesperson for the firm said it was "nearing the implementation of the first phase" of moving clients from the old to new platform.
