Jacob Rothschild-backed firm plans £100m float

European fintech market 'underserved'

Augmentum Fintech, which is preparing to float next month, has unveiled plans to issue a target of 100 million ordinary shares at a price of £1 each, with a maximum issue size of 125 million shares.

The Jacob Rothschild-backed firm aims to generate long-term growth through investing in UK and Europe-based fintech firms it deems to have high potential. So far, the firm has invested in peer-to-peer lending network Zopa, online broker Interactive Investor, crowdfunding platform Seedrs, platform SRL Global, precious metals investment trading platform BullionVault and Whiskey Invest Direct.
