The timeline for implementing DWP proposals under the 2017 automatic enrolment (AE) review is "shockingly lethargic", Royal London director of policy Steve Webb has said.

"There are some great ideas in this review, including starting pension saving at age 18 and making sure every pound you earn is pensionable," said Webb (pictured), in reaction to Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) proposals announced ahead of the 2017 auto-enrolment review, to be published today.
