Majority of schemes back pensions dashboard - ITM

But highlights challenges

Nine out of ten schemes are in favour of the pensions dashboard and view it as a beneficial development for the industry and consumers alike, according to a survey by ITM.

Despite overwhelming positivity, respondents also highlighted a number of challenges that need to be overcome along the way, including data protection (35%), data quality (30%) and system access (20%). There were also calls for more engagement with schemes, given that entitlements across the occupational pension sector represent a significant proportion of the pension pot universe.
