Nucleus pays first dividend offering 4.8% yield

Adviser platform Nucleus has paid out its first dividend to shareholders since its inception 11 years ago.

The £4.3m dividend reflects a yield of 4.8% and equates to a payment of £2.43 per ordinary share. The adviser-built platform claimed to be the second adviser wrap platform to pay a dividend to its shareholders.  Nucleus said the payment "is a mix of ordinary profit-based dividend and a one-off distribution of historic surplus reserves". The platform said it has now been debt-free for the past five years and has built up cash reserves of more than £15m.
