LEBC opts for direct FCA authorisation

National IFA, pensions and employee benefits consultancy LEBC group has opted to become directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Previously an appointed representative (AR) in the Tenet network, LEBC said it sought the status to enable it to provide a more bespoke internal compliance regime. Chief executive Jack McVitie said: "To have the compliance framework and processes in place, which are tailored to our business, were the key drivers for applying for direct authorisation.
